The Minnedosa and District Foundation has recently contributed to the Lake Winnipeg Rehabilitation Project by partnering with the Thomas Sill Foundation.  Our $3000 donation was matched 2:1 by Thomas Sill so a total of $9000 will be sent to them.  Lake Winnipeg is the 10th largest lake in the world by surface area and needs our assistance.  The Lake Winnipeg Research Consortium is a charity, and it is the only agency that is monitoring the lake from a rigorous, scientific position.  The Motor Vessel Namao enables this research.
